IT Technician – Webmaster

We are looking to recruit an IT professional with a keen interest & experience in web development and design (particularly ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and MSSQL) to join our small but busy IT team. In addition to working on the Cathedral’s various websites / bespoke software, there will also be the opportunity to develop projects which will benefit the Cathedral Community. With tasks varying from day-to-day, you will be given the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and broaden your existing knowledge. This is a wide ranging, hands-on role that requires a good all-round aptitude for IT, plenty of enthusiasm, demands initiative, flexibility and good interpersonal skills to allow you to determine user requirements.

Carpenter & Joiner
(Ref 105 WMA 1609)

The Dean and Chapter of Canterbury require an additional experienced fulltime Carpenter and Joiner for a variety of different reactive and preventative works. Jobs will involve making and fitting of windows, hanging doors, restoring old timber floors, cabinet making, renovating the cathedral roof etc. Candidates will ideally be apprentice trained with at least 5 years experience and have an empathy with traditional craft working methods.
