New Activities
The Martyrdom of St Alphege
The Vikings captured Alphege, the Archbishop of Canterbury, after their siege of Canterbury in 1011. Alphege refused to let the people of Canterbury pay his ransom and he was cruelly martyred on 19th April 1012. Click here to see the activities we are offering to commemorate this event.
