Join us for our fourth Big FRIENDly Sing!
Come along and sing Mozart’s Requiem from scratch, conducted by Dr David Newsholme, Director of Music at the Cathedral.
Jamie Rogers, Assistant Director of Music will be our accompanist. There will be two rehearsals and an early evening performance.
This is an opportunity to sing with the Cathedral’s Lay Clerks.
Limited to 200 singers.

Pricing to sing:
- £30 to sing with own score
- £35 to sing with hired music on the day
Invite family and friends to attend the performance!
All are welcome!
Tickets to the event: £15 (Children go free)

Rehearsal and performance schedule:
11:30 Registration
12:15-14:00 Rehearsal led by Dr David Newsholme, Director of Music at Canterbury Cathedral. Accompanied by Jamie Rogers, Assistant Director of Music.
15:00-16:00 Rehearsal with David Newsholme and Jamie Rogers
16:00-17:00 Rehearsal with soloists and Lay Clerks
Soloists will be musicians from the Cathedral Choir.
17:00-17:30 Tea, Coffee, and cakes in the Chapter House
18:00 Performance (Dress informal, but all black please)
We shall be using the New Novello Choral Score.
Please book by 1 May 2025 latest. Strictly limited to 200 choristers.
