Terms and Conditions
Universal Credit Day Tickets are available to those who live in the UK and are in receipt of Universal Credit or Pension Credit, and are valid for free day entry to the Cathedral and Precincts on the date specified in the booking.
Tickets are available every day of the week, during standard visitor opening times. Check our opening times and upcoming closures.
One Universal Credit Day Ticket is valid for one adult only. If you are purchasing multiple Universal Credit Day Tickets, each adult in your party must present individual proof of eligibility upon entry alongside their Universal Credit Day Ticket. Kids go FREE (Children aged 17 and under) every day.
Please note, once booked, your ticket is only valid for the date specified on your booking. You can use your ticket at any time during that day; you are not required to enter the Cathedral at the exact time on your booking.
Universal Credit Day Ticket holders are required to bring proof of eligibility, to present alongside their booking, to our welcome staff at the Cathedral entrance. This can either be by logging into your Universal Credit portal, or by bringing your proof of benefit letter. You can request a proof of benefit letter here.
Unfortunately, you will not be allowed entry into the Cathedral and Precincts unless you are able to show proof of receipt of one of the above eligible criteria alongside your booking.
